Intro to Apps: UX/UI and Programming for Kids

Does your child love technology and solving problems in creative ways? In Intro to Apps, kids will embark on an exciting journey into the world of app creation! This beginner-friendly class is perfect for young tech enthusiasts who want to explore both the technical and artistic sides of building apps.

Over nine action-packed weeks, your child will take their app idea from concept to reality—learning everything from brainstorming and designing to programming, testing, and launching. The best part? No prior coding experience is needed! We’ll break everything down into fun, engaging activities that let kids shine, whether they’re budding designers, curious coders, or imaginative problem-solvers.

Each session is hands-on and interactive, introducing kids to the exciting world of:

• Creative brainstorming to dream up amazing app ideas

• UX/UI design to create eye-catching, user-friendly apps

• Coding basics to bring their ideas to life

• Testing and optimizing to make their app the best it can be

• Launching their app like a pro!

By the end of the course, every child will have a mini-app of their own to showcase, along with a toolkit of skills in research, design, and problem-solving. This class makes technology fun, approachable, and inspiring for every child, sparking a passion for innovation that will last a lifetime.
