TRADITIONAL ART MEETS TECHNOLOGY: A MIXED MEDIA AND DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION - Wednesday

Age: 5 -9 years old
This class is a great option for younger children who want to explore how fine art and technology can be used together. They will start by learning the traditional art mediums such as pastels, acrylics, printmaking and watercolors and will then transition to a virtual canvas and see how the two platforms can together create interesting and creative results.
In this course, your child will:
🔺Create raw sketches using pastels, acrylics, printmaking or watercolors
🔺 Transfer these drawings to a tablet and use layers, brushes and other digital tools to elaborate their artwork
🔺Understand the importance of mastering traditional art techniques before jumping straight into the digital world
Your child does not need any previous experience or skill in drawing, design or animation. They just need to show up with a good, positive attitude and a desire to learn and unlock their creative spirit. We will have a special party / art show on the last day of class to celebrate the student’s amazing work.
Our small class sizes allows for maximum individual attention needed to foster creative thought and problem solving skills.
