Toy Design Adventures: Plushies, Stuffies & Beyond

Time: 9:00 am - 2:30 pm

Age: 5 - 10 years old

Imaginary friends, fantastic creatures and mixed-up animal characters are some of our favorite themes.. what better way to celebrate them than bringing them to live and make your own cuddly toy!

During this course we’ll be creating fun imaginary friends and bringing them to life in multiple ways. From fun collages, to sculpting and even making plushies with a full adoption certificate so that your new friends can officially come home with you!

Here’s what we’ll do:

✨ Dream Big: Design and craft fun imaginary friends through exciting collages and sketches.

🎨 Get Hands-On: Explore 3D art with clay, plasticine, and even ceramics to sculpt your creatures.

🧵 Bring Them to Life: Learn basic sewing skills to create a plushie version of your new best friend.

📜 Adopt Your Creation: Give your cuddly toy an official adoption certificate to take home and treasure forever!

This mixed-media art class combines storytelling, sculpting, and sewing to spark kids’ imaginations and teach them fun new skills. Whether they’re creating a fluffy dragon, a silly hybrid animal, or a quirky imaginary friend, kids will love bringing their ideas to life in all shapes and sizes.

Sample Camp Format

9:00-9:30 am -Arrival / free time / intro

9:30 -10:30 am - Session 1

10:30 -10:45 am -Snack/Mini Recess

10:45-12:00pm -session 2

12:00-1:00pm – Lunch/Recess

1:00-2:00pm – session 3

2:00-2:30pm – Wrap up for home

*There will be collaborative team art projects, active games, storytelling, lunch outside at the local park or under our shaded area, ice cream parties and much more!
